The fabric & gluelam timber structure spans the main car park drive, providing weather protection for passengers boarding or disembarking from the Airport buses. The timber structures has been designed to complement the existing bus shelter building. The new canopy effectively cantilevers out of the ground & rests gently on the existing bus shelter, imparting the lightest of loads. The timber structure & its connections allows for a very clean looking structure, which complements the clean finish of the fabric membrane.
